An Artist Stuck on Band-Aids "An Artist Stuck on Band-Aids" is story about Beth Barron, a Minnesota woman who collects used, torn and dirty bandages to create art. Originally produced for KFAI in Minneapolis, the story has also aired on New Hampshire Public Radio and WRST in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. I enjoyed producing this feature because Beth was kind enough to let me hang out with her while she searched for Band-Aids at a local park. She found a couple in the sand near the playground, but none on the baseball diamond. Lucky for her, I'd been in a minor bicycle accident the day before our interview, so I was able to contribute two used Band-Aids to the cause.
